Introduction to common usability heuristics using the client’s competing websites as examples
Participants’ exercise: Find its usability issues of the client’s website and make recommendations by applying the heuristics.
Introduction to search-engine optimization (SEO), including common techniques and examples
Introduction to cognitive walkthrough, including its definition, benefits and demonstration
Participants’ exercise: Walkthrough key features of the website to find usability issues and brain-storm design solutions.
Introduction to usability testing, including benefits, applications, process, user profile, recruitment, scenario design, moderation and analysis
Introduction to usability testing, including benefits, applications, process, scenario design and moderation
Practice: Design a short usability test scenario, moderate the session and analyze the observation.
