Prototyping: Wireframes and Workflows

What is prototyping?

We can design your features and web pages using wireframes and workflows, before your team proceeds to do detailed graphic design and programming.

This enables your team to focus on the critical design foundations (e.g., workflow logic, navigation), and avoid major usability issues which can be costly to fix in the latter part of the product development cycle.

What can be prototyped?

  • From individual web pages to sections or workflows
  • From individual windows to features

What is the process?

  1. Find out more about what your team would like to prototype, e.g., business and IT requirements, performance metrics, target users, selling points, enhancement plans.
  2. Proceed to prototype, and refine it iteratively with you team.
  3. Submit the prototype, and arrange the presentation if applicable.

What will you get?

  • Wireframe and/or workflow:
    • Include the design rationale and high-level logic, e.g., sorting and filtering requirements.
  • Presentation:
    • When the prototyping scope is sizable, we will provide a presentation to walkthrough our work with your team.
  • Post-prototyping consultation:
    • After submitting the prototype, we will provide five hours of consultation by phone or email.
